Design Apps

Use the Design App function to create new app processes and edit existing app processes in your Busibricks system.

Create new app process

Complete the following steps to create a new app process:

  1. Click on Design. A drop-down list is displayed.
  2. Click on 'Design new process'. The Configuring Process window is displayed.

  3. Complete the fields using the following table:

    General tab

    Field Description
    Name Enter a name for the new app process
    Description Enter a description for the app process
    Actions - Suspend Tick the box if you want to allow users to suspend the app process
    Actions - Cancel Tick the box if you want to allow users to cancel the app process

    Permissions tab

    Field Description
    Applies To Select the CRM category that the app process is used by from the drop-down list
    Available to Tick the box for the type of users that you want to allow use of the app process. For example, if you tick 'Admin', only admin users can use this app process.

     

  4. Click Save to create the new app process (or click Cancel to undo any changes).
  5. Note: The new app process does not appear until you have created stages for it (see App Stages for more details).
  6. Refresh your browser to see the new app in the Design list. 

Editing an app

Complete the following steps to edit an existing app's properties:

  1. Click on Design. A drop-down list is displayed.
  2. Click on the app name that you want to edit. The Design screen is displayed for the selected app.
  3. Click the App Properties button. The Configuring App window is displayed.
  4. Edit the app's details as required.
  5. Click Save to save any changes (or click Cancel to undo any changes).
